Open meeting to discuss Blue Bridge future | Community Spirit
What do you think should be done about the Blue Bridge? You’ll have a chance to speak your mind this week.
An open community meeting will be held from 3 until 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, at Newport City Hall regarding the future of the Blue Bridge.
The city and a team from Clinton School of Public Service are investigating possible options for preserving the bridge while providing a new use for it.
Jackson County residents are invited to attend Tuesday’s meeting and share their thoughts, ideas and feelings about the preservation project.
If you are unable to attend but would still like to provide input, contact James Stephens at JRStephens@clintonschool.uasys.edu.
