Man sentenced to 40 years after pleading guilty in child porn case

A Tuckerman man will spend the next 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.

On Wednesday, December 12, Donald Lee Foshee, 54, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

According to Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry H. Boyce, Foshee entered his guilty plea “just moments before he was to face a Jackson County jury for trial.”

Foshee was arrested in January 2012 after Jackson County sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at Foshee’s home and reportedly discovered several computer discs containing child pornography.

The search warrant was the result of information received by the sheriff’s office from the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office that Foshee was downloading child porn from the internet.
